Hannah Swanson. Aspiring Designer.

 

I am a graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in Apparel Merchandising and Design, with an emphasis in apparel design. My love of design began in 4-H where I participated in the clothing competition every year from fourth grade to twelfth grade.  I advanced to the state competition the last three years I was involved, two of which I was awarded scholarships for being in the top 3%.

I have had multiple internships in the fashion industry, with one of the most recent ones being at BCBGMAXAZRIA in Vernon, California. I value the experience that I am able to obtain at these internships, and plan to channel what I've learned there into my own work ethic when seeking future employment. I've also had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy, and attend Academia Italiana. 

 

I have the skills, work ethic, creativity, knowledge and motivation to be positive, influential, and successful in the fashion industry one day. As a graduate of Iowa State, I continue to pursue opportunities for growth and experience in the industry.
